Congenital Talipes Equinovarus, sometimes known as clubfoot, is a foot abnormality that can affect one or both feet. The injured foot or feet look to have their ankles twisted inward. Individuals who have this ailment and do not receive treatment frequently appear to be walking on the sides of their feet or their ankles. Despite the fact that this disorder can be severely handicapping in the absence of therapy, most people who receive it recover fully. One of the more frequent congenital abnormalities is clubfoot. It affects about one in a thousand newborns. Bilateral club foot is a condition that affects both feet in half of infants who do have it. Boys are twice as likely as females to have clubfoot.
